At Tranängskolan 7–9, we are currently looking for a PE Teacher. You will be part of one of the school's six work teams.

Responsibilities

You will teach PE to students in grades 7–9.

Being a PE teacher is about much more than teaching movement. It's about empowering young people to dare challenge themselves! You see opportunities where others see obstacles, build relationships that create safety, and inspire students to develop based on their own prerequisites. As a teacher here, you will become an important part of the school's work to create a safe and developmental learning environment where students have the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially.

You will be responsible, together with three close colleagues, for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching. We believe in the power of good relationships, high expectations, and professional collaboration.

Requirements & Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach PE for grades 7–9.
• Preferably have eligibility in mathematics or another subject.
• Have experience teaching PE or other relevant experience in the field.
• Can build strong relationships and earn trust from students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Have clear pedagogical leadership and high expectations for student development.
• Enjoy collaborating and see collegial learning as a natural part of the role.

The hiring manager returns from leave on 2026-07-27 and will be available to answer questions from that date onwards.
